LOVELOVELOVE
Have you ever been in a certain area in New York that you thought could use a bit more umph to take away from its dullness? Well Artist, Aakash Nihalani is single-handedly solving that problem. Nihalani uses neon colored tape to create isometric shapes and places these in different locations around New York to bring a little more life to the city. Nihalani says that he is “trying to offer people a chance to step into a different New York than they are used to seeing, and in turn, momentarily escape from routine schedules and lives.” Aside from creating this art around the city, he also interacts with the pieces creating a pretty cool 3D effect. Our day would most certainly be brightened if we came across one of his pieces on the streets of NY!! Dope concept. Be sure to check out his site for more images of his work!
