The Skinny on Soy.
I get questions about soy all of the time.  It can be a tricky topic so, I wanted to give you all the run down as I see it.
There are some big problems with the little plant and in consuming it regularly.
#1.  Most soy is genetically modified.
This is bad.  When foods are genetically modified they are unnatural and unpredictable.  We don’t have much information on their adverse health affects yet but, I firmly believe that the more we mess with nature, the more nature messes with our health.
#2.  It’s one of the most common food sensitivities/allergies out there.
A soy allergy can cause everything from digestive upset and inflammation to hormonal disruption and acne.  Most people don’t even realize they have a sensitivity to it (or that they’re eating it all the time because it’s in most processed foods)
#3.  The positive health benefits of soy have been greatly exaggerated.
